Former Nigeria international professional footballer and Chelsea winger Victor Moses is delighted about his move to play for Turkish side Fernebache this latter half of the season.
Moses has been a fringe player since Maurizio Sarri grabbed the reins of the west London outfit. The Nigerian international has been featured five times since Sarri took charge last year, but that tally is can get him a regular in Sarri’s team.
Chelsea had been looking to get the winger off their books and had earlier received interests from Turkey and China. But Moses had opted to join the former.
The winger completed the move to the outfit this week and admitted he is hugely excited about returning to the pitch.
Fernebache are standing on a thread in the Super Lig, and are on the brink of falling out of the Turkish topflight.
Moses move to Fernebache is the winger’s first transfer outside of England, since joining the west Londoners from Crystal Palace.
The powerful winger in a tweet said: “Delighted to have joined Fenerbahce. A huge club with incredible fans and an amazing history. Can’t wait to get going,”
“I’d also like to thank everyone at Chelsea and I wish the team and the fans the very best for the future!”
Fernebache are 15th on the Super Lig table, with a point just off the basement.
