Deal On: Man United officials steps up pursuit of prolific finisher

Manchester United may look engulfed in the pursuit of Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan but they also have an eye for talent in the transfer window.

According to reports, United are interested in Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis who plies his trade for Belgian side Club Brugge. Belgian news source Het Laatste Nieuws reports that the 19-year-old exploits at Brugge has invited public scrutiny on him and further report goes on to say that Mourinho is keen on signing the forward whose contract with his current side runs until the summer of 2021.

United were one of the clubs in attendance to watch the youngster in action for his side against AEK Athens in the Europa League clash. The Nigerian recorded 6 goals in 22 games last term but he has started off on a strong note this season with 5 goals in the 5 appearances made this season.

The youngster looks set for a Premier League switch since a host of top EPL sides have been monitoring his progress. The likes Manchester City, Leicester City are on the player’s case. However, it remains to be seen if Brugge will sanction this deal this summer after selling Jose Izquierdo to Brighton.

United recently signed Romelu Lukaku and they have a promising striker in Marcus Rashford. Also there are reports of Zlatan Ibrahimovich returning to the side in December, but Mourinho could yet snap the player who has had progressed through the youth ranks of Brugge to become a top dog in the Belgian first division.
