Deal on: Man United advance negotiation to complete deal for ‘Wayne Rooney’s’ replacement

The transfer window is less than two weeks from being shut, although Man United have been unable to sign another player after Nemanja Matic joined, we expect to see one or two outward transfers of players.

Man United have advanced negotiation with Spanish La liga side Valencia in a bid to secure a loan move for Belgium born Brazil international Andreas Pereira, according to reports.

Pereira has made a first team appearance in the colours of Manchester United but he has failed to proof to Jose Mourinho that he deserves a place in the squad. He spent last season on loan at Spanish side Granada and had spell that was adjudged impressive.

Although, he had an awe-inspiring pre-season with Man United, particularly in the Red Devils game against Real Madrid where he played the no. 10 to the delight of the fans, he may not be able to play regularly for the current Man United squad.

According to Sportwitness, Valencia are not financially buoyant but they will be able to afford a loan deal for the attacking midfielder, who has been dubbed as the replacement for Wayne Rooney.n and talks are currently ongoing for the player’s transfer

Man United have signed on Nemanja Matic to bolster their midfield but they will be participating in various competitions, which means Jose Mourinho could make do with the services of the talented midfielder.

Pereira had revealed that he wants a place in the team of United while they were on tour in the United States.

“It was a good experience [at Granada],” he said.

“I learned a lot of things and hopefully I can use them now here back at United.

“It boosts me that the people here trust the young players.

“I am very happy for the young players and I want to be a part of this team as well.”
