Deal on: Liverpool agree fee for €60m-rated ‘future Cristiano Ronaldo’

Liverpool confirmed the signing of Dominic Solanke from Chelsea on Monday but Jurgen Klopp is yet undone in the transfer window.

The Reds made an offer for Portugal international international and Sporting Winger Gelson Martins and there is a chance that that the deal will pull through.

Martins was part of Portugual squad that failed to nail the Confederations Cup but his display for Sporting CP is still remembered. Last term, he featured in 44 games across all competitions, where he scored seven goals and provided 14 assist.

His impressive show-off for Club has not gone unnoticed. Arsenal have also been credited with interest for the star winger but we understand that it is Liverpool who have made offers for the 22-year-old, reports Portuguese media outlet A Bola.

Liverpool had seen their first offer for the player rebuffed by the report now claims the Reds have offered €50m for his services. However, the Mugsmashers may not be able to sign him for that sum as GFN have been told that Sporting are holding out for his €60m valuation.

The youngster is known for his pace and his ability to dribble is also being developed. No wonder the President of Benfica Domingos Estanislau described him as “The future Cristiano Ronaldo” .

If Liverpool can seal a deal for him, he would be a good buy for the Club
