Deal on: Chelsea to agree €100m deal for Man United transfer prime target

The transfer window of this summer has seen Chelsea and Manchester United battled for same players and it appears that they will continue with the rivalry until the transfer window is shut.

Jose Mourinho has already added three top-notch players to his rank this summer but he has stalled over a deal for Ivan Perisic as he looks to add potency and creativity to his front three. Despite his failure to sign the aforementioned Croatian, Mourinho has informed Ed Woodward that he is still in the want of a player in the mould of an attacker.

Man United have had interest in the signing of Gareth Bale since his day at Tottenham but reports making the rounds reveals that the Red Devils have reignited interest in the signing this Welsh star. However, they are not the only club interested in signing him as Chelsea have now emerged front-runners for his signature, reports the Express.’

The future of Bale has become a subject of widespread speculation following Real Madrid  interest in French teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe. If Real Madrid’s deal for Mbappe pulls through, it is said that Bale would be offered up for sale.

However, the President of Los Blancos Florentino Perez will have any of Bale’s suitors fork out as much as £90million (€100million) for his signature as funds recouped will be used to sign Mbappe claims the report.

Jose Mourinho is said to be an admirer of Bale and he had tacitly signified his interest in Bale after Man United game with Santiago Bernabeu outfit in a pre-season fixture.

Meanwhile Chelsea have bolstered their squad this season but they have been linked with only defenders. The report claims that the Conte is looking to sign four more players and Bale has been under the Blues’ watch.

We wait to see how this pans out.
