Deal Closed: Mesut Ozil proposed transfer to Juventus already decided

Scudetto Champions Juventus are reportedly on the verge of cooling their interest in Arsenal want-away playmaker Mesut Ozil who has refused to renew his contract with the Gunners.

According to Calciomercato, the Old Lady are yet to make an offer for the Germany International and they seem not willing to bring the playmaker to Turin before the end of the month.

Calciomercato also report that Juventus chiefs have told Ozil’s agent that they are yet to make final decision whether to bring the player to Turin or not.


Barcelona and Manchester United are being linked with a move for the German veteran midfielder. The Catalans are reportedly out of the race for his signature after they finally confirmed the capturing of Brazilian playmaker Phillipe Coutinho from Liverpool last week.

Another player who is being linked to Turin is De Vrij but the Netherland international is set to extend his contract with Serie A side Lazio. Report emanating from Italy has it that De Vrij is happy at the Stadio Olimpico stadium and he is ready commit his future with the club in few weeks time.

Juventus are set to quit their interest in De Vrij as they want to avoid any transfer saga with their rivals. Therefore, the only player who could join the Serie A Champions as a free agent is Liverpool Midfielder Emre Can.

Juventus currently occupy the second position with 51 points, a point behind Napoli who are on 51 points while Lazio remain in fourth position with 40 points.
