Ander Herrera has remained coy when quizzed about signing a contract extension deal with Manchester United, per reports.
United are reveling in the ambiance of form since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer assumed the reigns of the club. The Norwegian manager has an impeccable start to life with eight wins in a row.
While pundits claimed the fixtures of the Red Devils have been relatively easy, their win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium proved they may have returned to their best form.
Although Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford have earned so much plaudits for their fine form, Ander Herrera has also gotten his career back on the bounce with barnstorming displays.
The Spanish midfielder will see out his current deal at the end of the season and speculations have continued to surround his future.
He was quizzed about signing a new deal with Arsenal and he said;
“I’m not going to talk about my contract,” he stated. “We have more important things happening now than my contract so I just try to perform.
“My priority is to beat Burnley, Leicester. If I deserve a new contract, the contract will come. I’m not a selfish guy, I want the team to keep winning games, I don’t go crazy about my contract.”
He has earned a new deal with Man United, it is only a matter of time before he puts pen to paper on a new deal.
