Liverpool have started talks to sign budding teenager Sandro Tonali, says reliable journalist Nicolò Schira.
Liverpool, despite being excellent at the front, have not hard their foot that well dug on the back, suffering big hits to their backline.
There have been widespread notion Reds could bring in some players this term, despite Klopp rubbishing claims about the issue.
Schira reported that Tonali is being scouted by the Reds. The Italian correspondent dropped the news on his Twitter handle on Sunday evening.
Schira admits that Liverpool are already scouting the player. The Italian journalist admitted that the Reds watched the youngster play in Brescia’s 4-4 draw against Spezia.
Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan are also heavily interested in signing the 19-year-old from the Serie B club.
Schira tweeted: #Liverpool has opened talks for Sandro #Tonali . Reds scout has watched him in #BresciaSpezia today. Cellino wants for the young midfielder (born in 2000) €35M. Roma, Juventus, Milan and Inter also heavily interested for the next season.#transfers #LFC
But it is unclear if Reds will sanction the 30 million pounds bid slapped on Tonali as demanded. Tonali has started 19 times for Brescia this term.
