Chelsea are expected to bolstered their squad in the January transfer window and while fans are looking forward to new signings, it appears that the Blues will sell off Brazil winger Willian, as per reports.
Since the appointment of Antonio Conte to the reigns of Chelsea, Willian has found it difficult to stake a claim in his first team. He was basically used as a substitute last term and he has continued to be a fringe player this term.
Willian was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer when he confirmed his desire to link up with former boss Jose Mourinho but Barcelona were also keen at that time and Chelsea refused to discuss offers for him.
Although we cannot ascertain the veracity of the report, Willian will be sold in January and the funds recouped from his sale will be used to fund the signing of Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura, this is according to Le 10 Sport.
The report further stated that Chelsea will accepted a £27m bid for Willian and he is most likely going to be joining a Chinese club.
Lucas Moura is not very much rated at Paris Saint Germain and the presence of Neymar, Mbappe, De Maria and Julian Draxler makes him a peripheral figure at Parc des Princes.
Conte knows better and so, we will agree that Moura will be a better bargain for Wilian.
