Chelsea’s defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup Community Shield game has left the fans of the Blues wagging their tongue over Antonio Conte’s business in the transfer business.

Since the signing of Alvaro Morata to the club, Chelsea’s transfer business has stalled but Conte is dissatisfied with the current state of his squad. The Italian tactician is yet looking for options for his right and left wing backs ad latest reports according to the Express has indicated that the Premier League Champions have advanced negotiation to sign Serge Aurier.

Aurier’s future with Paris Saint Germain became a subject of huge speculation after the Parc Des Princes outfit signed Dani Alves. The right back is understood to want a move to the Premier League but he was slapped a travel ban after he was found guilty of assaulting a Police man.

His transfer is mainly hinged on the outcome of his appeal which if positive, means he’ll be granted a work permit to play in the Premier League. Man United were heavily linked with a move for the Ivorian but backed out of the deal over the player’s uncertain court case.

However, according to the report, Chelsea are now locked in talks with Serge Aurier and he could be landed in a £27m deal.

There was massive departure from the squad of Chelsea this summer and they must reinforce their squad else Conte would not be able to manage his team playing in all competitions.
