Arsenal is thought to be waiting in the wings for Croatian and Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.
It is already in the clear that Arsenal are trying to bring in loan reinforcements this term, as admitted by boss Unai Emery last week.
Gunners are looking to scoop up Manchester United target Ivan Perisic on a loan deal this month. However, they will have to fork out 35 million pounds in the summer to buy him permanently.
Perisic is open to leaving the San Siro after seeing a huge drop in his performance this term for Inter, despite a blooming campaign in the World Cup for the Blazers Croatia.
The Inter man had previously been a target for United, but the Red Devils refused to meet the 50 million pounds price tag slapped on the player by the Italian club in 2017.
Since his move to Old Trafford did not pan out well, the winger tied his future down at the outfit until 2022. But with the flag in his performance this campaign, finding the back of the net three times out 25 outings for the club, Inter want him off their books.
Arsenal are still searching for a versatile midfielder and a winger. A deal for Barcelona’s Denis Suárez is still in the works.
With Perisic now added to that shortlist of wingers Emery is eyeing, it would be interesting to see if they can pull off his signing.
