The Gunners fans have been grinning from ear to ear as they fantasy about Thomas Lemar being among their attacking trio. Arsenal have been draw into a transfer saga with Monaco over the players signature and it appears that Arsene Wenger has sanctioned a £50million move for the attacker, according to reports.

Lemar has been a subject of two bids from Arsenal but Monaco were holding out for more. However, there are indications that the French Champions will accept £50m for the player to join Arsenal as their third summer signing.

Arsene Wenger has already bolstered his squad with two signings this summer – Sead Kolasinac joined on a free transfer from Schalke 04 and he was joined by Arsenal’s record signing Alexandre Lacazette who switched Lyon in a £52.7million deal.

Wenger failed to qualify his team for the Champions League but he is poised to strengthen the front line of his team. The Gunners have also been linked with a move for Riyad Mahrez but Lemar appears to be top choice for the French tactician.

According to Express sports, the deal for Lemar is in the offing as he has agreed personal terms and wages to make the move. Lemar is set to become Arsenal’s second most expensive signing if Monaco accepts their £50million offer for the player.
