Club agree to sell € 25m-rated star to Chelsea

Chelsea is swooning over the fact that they can get their grips on Napoli defender Elseid Hysaj in the future.

Reports floating around say Napoli are not going to push back any bid lodged by outfits to sign the defender.

Chelsea have been very keen on signing the Albanian defender and Maurizio Sarri attempted to strike a deal to land the star but was immediately put off by his former club in the summer.

Sarri condemned the Blues display against Tottenham last weekend, panning out criticism at their shambolic defending.

The Italian reflected that he was utterly dismayed over the bungled outcome, noting a quick fix was unavoidable.

He remarked that it meant, his players would have to knuckle down harder to avoid the kind of whop they were served on Saturday.

Trimming Hysaj out of the squad won’t risk Napoli’s chances of a top finish in the Serie A given the rising of French defender Kevin Malcuit, who they sign from Lille just recently.

With a few patches still needed to dress up the team, dipping into the market in January for a defender will keep the Blues closer to rivalling Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur for the Premier League trophy, this season.

Hysaj is valued at 25,00 Mill. € according to transfermarkt.
