Club agree to pay €120m to sign Chelsea attacking midfielder

Hazard has continued to drive Chelsea to victory with his menacing drives and showoffs on the pitch this season. The 27-year-old has been the spark plug of the Chelsea squad inherited from Conte by Sarri in July.

Real Madrid have experienced a decline in their style of play this season since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to Juventus this summer.

It was mooted on-form Hazard could be the fuel that will hold the flame of Madrid’s attack after Ronaldo’s exit this summer.

Though a move to bait him out of Stamford Bridge was scuppered.

But the Spanish football powerhouse have decided to take huge strides and make a move for the Belgian forward in the winter window.

Real have named the fee they are willing to pay for the talismanic player.

As per AS, the Spanish galatico are ready to fork out 120 million euros for the Belgian star.

Chelsea have a strong grip on Hazard. Letting him go in January will cost more than Madrid are willing to offer.

The Spaniards know this, and are willing to wait out until the next summer transfer window when they can get the Belgian for a softer.

By then Hazard would have entered the last run on his contract at the west London outfit.
