Chelsea transfer prime target agrees deal with Manchester United
Manchester United have scored the least number of goals among the first seven team on the EPL table, their inability to score goals stems from the lack of creativity or an assist maker in the Red Devils team that will provide the final pass for the striker.
Mourinho is stuck with Mhkitaryan and Rooney as players that play behind his striker but they lack the creativity to tear apart the defenses of opponents. Mourinho is looking to remedy this loophole in his team with report by the Sun indicating that James Rodriguez has agreed to join United.
We reported earlier that United are on his chase as they prepare a swap deal involving him and two other Real Madrid stars but it appears that Mourinho already has an agreement in place with Rodriguez’s agent Jorge Mendes, that will see him move to Old Trafford in the summer.
Since the appointment of Zinedine Zidane as the manager of Real Madrid, Rodriguez has been playing second fiddle football – he’s featured in 18 La Liga games this term but has started in just 10. Despite of his claim of being happy at the Santiago Bernabeu, it is believed he is unhappy and will favor move away from Madrid.
Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the player according to the Sun but if this report is true then, the Blues have lost out on the player who is worth a meagre £50m.
Rodriguez can be from the flanks but he’s more comfortable playing behind a striker. He’s adept at distributing the ball and creating chances for his teammates. He has six assist to his name in the La Liga this season.
