The Spanish player had a forgettable spell with Liverpool at Anfield but he has seen his stock on the increase since joining AC Milan in the January of 2015.

This season alone, he has scored four goals in 10 appearances and has won the admiration of Sarri, who is still looking to bolster the squad of Chelsea.

He currently has a £36.5 million release clause and according to the Daily Star, Sarri is considering to trigger to clause in order to land him at Stamford Bridge. However, AC Milan are looking offer him a contract extension deal that would see his release clause increase.

Chelsea’s interest in the 27-year-old stems from the poor and inconsistent form of Willian and the injury susceptibility of Pedro. Suso can play behind the striker or on the flank and he will provide a good option to the aforementioned players.

Another report by Calcio Mercato has claimed that Marina Granovskaia has met with the agent of the Spanish star Alessandro Lucci, and they have discussed about a potential move for the star.

The January transfer window is just two months to its opening, we wait to see how Chelsea would fare in the window.
