Chelsea make be angling for a move to snap up a striker at the turn of the year.
Alvaro Morata has been really goal-shy this season, despite nicking prompt winners this term for the west Londoners.
Chelsea are reportedly chasing after a solution as reports floating about have claimed, after new boss Maurizio Sarri narrowly missed signing Argentinian Gonzalo Higuain in the summer.
Cherries striker Callum Wilson is now under the Blues radar and a suspected move is said to be in the mix, according to The Daily Mirror.
Wilson has been firing on all cylinders this term for the Eddie Howe’s side racking up six goals in 11 appearances for Bournemouth.
The 26-year-old has been involved in four others, for the club.
Wilson penned down a new four-year deal at Bournemouth in July, but there are worries from their end that he could be scooped up in January given his spirited form.
Morata has yet to hit the ground running. A lack of confidence has been blamed for his shadowy performance this season, despite his brace against Crystal Palace last weekend.
Wilson sits fourth amongst highly ranked Premier League players, behind Blues playmaker Eden Hazard, Arsenal summer signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Manchester City’s Sergio Agüero.
There are talks Chelsea could make a move for the 26-year-old in January, if his fire doesn’t burn out this year.
