Chelsea are reportedly still interested in signing Andrea Belotti from Torino before the transfer window closes in the coming days.
The Premier League champions have already brought in Alvaro Morata in a club-record £70 million deal from Real Madrid but Antonio Conte still wants to add more depth to squad.
He wants more options upfront while he is still keen on bolstering the midfield and the wing positions. Conte has also been linked with moves for Paris-Saint Germain midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak
The Italian boss is far from being impressed with Michy Batshuayi performance and with Diego Costa no longer part of the team, it is reported that Conte wants Belotti as a replacement for the Spain international and to support Morata in the final third.
Morata came off the bench to score a goal and assisted another in the 3-2 defeat to Burnley but went blank in the 2-1 win over Tottenham on Sunday.
According to Transfermarketweb, Chelsea are ready to make another bid for the 23-year-old forward despite having their first three bids rejected by the Italian club but they will be expected to improve on their next bid for the striker.
The Italy international has a £92 million release clause in his contract and Torino will only listen to the club ready to meet that amount, as per the report. Belotti was impressive in the Serie A last season; he scored 26 goals and assisted another seven.
Man United were linked with a move for the Italian but Mourinho has already signed Lukaku and a deal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in the offing.
