The Premier League reigning Champions Chelsea have over 20 players on loan across European Clubs but most of them may not return to Stamford Bridge because they will not be given game time.
Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic spent last season on loan at AC Milan, where he managed to make a bit of a name for himself, and he is now in the transfer radar of several Club as claimed by his agent.
The 22-year-old moved to Chelsea from Hadjuk Split in the summer of 2014 in a £3m deal. Since joining, he has spent the last three years on loan at Elche, Monaco and lastly AC MIlan.
Pasalic is once again made available and his agent has revealed that even tho Italian giants Lazio and Betis have inquired about the availability of the player, no bid has been made for his services.
“I can only say that there are a lot of clubs interested in Pasalic of which Betis is one,” Naletilic told Estadio Deportivo.
“Betis are an important club in Spain and Europe, for whom I have great respect.”
He was also quizzed about the possibility of the player joining Lazio and he said:
“Lazio is a big European team. I haven’t discussed for Pasalic with them, but I have a good relationship with [Claudio] Lotito and [Igli Tare]. At the moment, however, there has been no official interest.”
We may have to wait to see how this pans out but taking a look at Pasalic and his development. He played in 24-League games for AC Milan last term where he scored five goals and provided an assist.
The German born Croatian midfielder is not known to have any significant strength but his tackles and passes are weak.
