Premier League giants have been attracted by the eye-catching performances of Hoffenheim defender Jeremy Toljan and are ready to go head-to-head for his signature.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have all been credited with moves for the German right-back.
Blues boss Antonio Conte is keen on strengthening the right-wing position, with Victor Moses the only available option. The Italian manager had set his sight on signing Danilo from Real Madrid and was closed to agreeing a deal with him before the Brazil international decided to joined Manchester City instead.
While Mauricio Pochettino is on the lookout for a replacement for Kyle Walker who moved to Man City in a £50 million deal. Tottenham had earlier been linked with Toljan but will now have to fend off competition from their league rivals.
And Jurgen Klopp is also interested in bringing the Germany U21 star to Anfield despite the availability of Nathaniel Clyne and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Tojan impressed for Hoffeniheim in the Bundesliga last season, helping them to a fourth-place finish in the league. The 22-year-old made 20 league appearances and scored a goal for the German club last term.
He was also impressive in the European U21 Championship in Poland, helping Germany to win the competition.
Tojan has a year left on his contract at Hoffenheim and has been valued at just £3 million, making him a cheap buy for clubs.
