Last summer signing Emerson Palmieri could finally be dumped by Maurizio Sarri this month.
The Italian defender could head back home to Italy to re-ignite his fading career after seeing it almost completely extinguished at Chelsea.
The defender has failed to nail a spot in. Sarri’s squad and has been tipped with a move to his native Italy.
Juventus are reportedly in the race for the player. Juventus are keen to bolster their line-up and Massimiliano Allegri is strongly-willed to bring the player to Turin.
The Old Lady is confident they can argue down the player’s valuation and secure his signature this month.
The Daily Star say Juventus are in a comfortable position to sign the fringe player this month.
Palmieri’s future at Stamford Bridge downhilled since Antonio Conte left the west London club. Under Sarri this term, the Italian has struggled to hold a spot. The 23-year-old has made just 14 starts this month, including four off-the-bench appearances for the Blues this term.
Palmieri is expected to join Juve for a reported 15 million pounds, as they look to sanction a move for striker Gonzalo Higuain to Stamford Bridge.
