Chelsea to announce transfer of box-to-box midfielder

Hammers have reignited their interests to bring in forgotten Chelsea star Danny Drinkwater.

The England international has barely made an appearance for Chelsea this term and is edging to the exit door at Stamford Bridge.

The 35 million pounds signing from Leicester City two years ago has failed to nail a spot at Chelsea since coming from the King Power Stadium.

Drinkwater formed a formidable partnership with Blues midfielder N’golo Kante during their spell at Leicester City, however, he has dropped way down the pecking order at the club.

Chelsea are looking to offload the player, who has posed a forlorn figure this term. The Blues are looking to sell him off, and couldn’t be any gladder that he has clubs lined up to pick him.

Hammers are closest to sign him in the race for his services. There have also been interest from Fulham.

Turkish club Fenerbache have been credited with interest in his services. The outfit are currently struggling to keep top form and are planning to bring in recruits that can beef up their side and keep them away from slipping further to the base of the Turkish league.

Jack Wilshere, Carlos Sánchez, and Manual Lanzini are currently, all sidelined and a move by West Ham for Drinkwater who has only managed just 23 games since joining 18 months ago, seems like a good fetch in the market for them this month, and definitely add more funds to Blues account.
