Barcelona are keeping tabs on Denmark international and Chelsea centre-back Andreas Christensen and they will make a move for him in January, this is according to reports.
The 22-year-old star has featured in only one Premier League game for Chelsea this season, with rife reports claiming he wants out of the club.
He was a key figure at the heart of Chelsea’s defence during the reign of Antonio Conte. Alas, he has fallen down the selection pecking order of Maurizio Sarri, who has preferred the pair of David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger.
The Dennish defender joined Chelsea in 2012 but broke into the senior team in 2014. He was sent on loan to Borrussia Monchenglabach, where he proved his mettle with 31 appearances in the 2015-16 and 2016-17 season respectively.
Although, he is seen as the only back-up to Rudiger and Luiz, he may not pass on the chance to join Barcelona. Talksport claim the star would welcome a move to the La Liga to the Bluagranas.
Chelsea are unlikely going to allow him leave in January or even next summer as it is given that he is young and still developing his game.
He still has some years left on his contract but transfermarkt has valued him at 35,00 Mill. €.
