Chelsea to agree swap deal including player described as “goal scoring machine” by Sarri

Alvaro Morata has continued to misfire in front of goals and whilst Maurizio Sarri has refused to complain, it is clear the Italian boss wants the Spaniard gone.

Sarri is tired of the former Real Madrid striker’s staggering showoff and wants him completely shipped off in the January transfer window.

And for his replacement, Sarri has demanded they sign his old buddy Gonzalo Higuain back.

Higuain came close to joining the Blues, but plans to sign him were immediately ditched by Chelsea, who’d rather play only Morata and his backup Olivier Giroud.

Morata is back in training after suffering a knock, but Eden Hazard will be deployed in the false nine position when they welcome Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

While Morata has struggled to thrive under Sarri, the same cannot be said about Higuain who flourished well under the Italian tactician during his stint at Napoli.

Sarri describe the 31-year-old as a “goal scoring machine” and a best bet and his best count when he needed to put goals at the back of the net.

Higuain is on loan at AC Milan, but Chelsea have an option to buy him should they take up keen interest in the star. Chelsea will need to cough up 33 million pounds to sign the Argentine in January
