Milan giants AC Milan are willing to trade young shot-stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma to FA Cup champions Chelsea, should the Blues send out-of-favour forward Morata the other way, this is according to report.
Thibaut Courtois is rumoured to be heading to Spanish outfit Real Madrid next term after the three-times European champions registered their interests in the 25-year-old.
The Belgian towering guard has refused to sign a new deal that could extend his stay at Stamford Bridge for the long term and with the Blues desperate to find a replacement, they may have to wait no longer.
According to Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan is willing to make a swap deal with the former Premier League champions that will see 19-year-old Donnarumma head to the West London outfit and Álvaro Morata to San Siro.
It is understood Milan need an extra strength in their attacking front and are willing to trigger a deal with Chelsea, one that will land Álvaro Morata in their camp.
The £70 million signing failed to rise to expectations last campaign since arriving from Real Madrid last summer. His languid display prompted the signing of former Arsenal man Olivier Giroud.
But with the Blues on the hunt for a good shot-stopper whilst Donnarumma isn’t all that, although competent, they may be willing to let the Spaniard go after all.
