Chelsea to agree €50m for the transfer of in-demand netminder

Thibaut Courtois was one of the most sought-after goalies during the winter transfer market as Real Madrid, Juventus and Atletico Madrid were all linked with a move for the Belgian international, according to reports.

Though Madrid are going to reignite their interest in the goalkeeper’s signature when the summer transfer window begins, Courtois insisted that his immediate future lies with Chelsea, and he is in talks with the West London club for a new contract extension.

According to the Belgian whose family are in Spain, while revealing his plan to Belgian magazine Sport, said his family including his two children are very important and priceless to him and he can’t wait to see them soon, but his representative is in discussions with Chelsea’s hierarchy over the possibility of extending his stay at the Stamford Bridge.
