Chelsea to agree €100m deal for 26-goal Man United target, Club President confirms clause

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has become desperate for the signing of a striker after allowing Romelu Lukaku slip through his grasp. The Blues have been linked with a plethora of strikers including Alvaro Morata, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the latest being Andrea Belotti.

Since the start of this year, Chelsea have recouped over £125million but their biggest spending have been the deal for Antonio Rudiger which was to the tune of £34million. Apparently the transfer war-chest of Antonio Conte is still very heavy.

With Diego Costa expected to leave Chelsea within the coming days, the Independent reports that Premier League reigning Champions have turned their attention on former Man United target Andrea Belotti.

Alvaro Morata already looks like an impossible target as he has traveled with Los Blancos for their pre-season tour and it is said that Antonio Conte could quit the Chelsea job over the lack of transfer activities and so, the principals of Chelsea will meet his demand for a striker.

Although there are no Chelsea offers for Belotti, the president of Torino  Urbano Cairo conceded that they will listen to offers for the goal poacher.

“He has a €100m release clause. For now no-one has come in for him. I’m glad he’s with us and I hope he can stay.

He went further to confirm that the player will not be sold to any Italian Club, leaving Chelsea as favorite for the player’s signature.,

“I don’t think it’s possible to sell in Italy, where there isn’t even the clause. Andrea is an extraordinary lad, he has undeniable qualities.”

Belotti found the back of the net 26 times for the Turin Club in the Seria and he has been dubbed as the new Christian Vieri and Luca Toni.
