Chelsea to agree deal with Inter Milan for the transfer of silky forward

Former Champions League winners Inter Milan are looking to bolster their squad ahead of the new European campaign and are set to make an eleventh hour move for Chelsea’s Pedro.

The Milan outfit have already signed on Sime Vrsaljko, Stefan de Vrij, Radja Nainggolan, Kwadwo Asamoah, Lautaro Martinez and Matteo Politano this summer, the latest to ink a new deal in Keita Balde.

But manager Luciano Spalleti has yet to wrap up his transfer business and if reports bandying about are anything to go by, the Italian is keen on snapping up Pedro before the Italian window slams shut.

All transfer businesses in Italy will come to an end today and Inter Milan had handpicked Pedro as their last-hour buy before it shuts.

Pedro has a deep well of experience in the Champions League, and a move for the 31-year-old by the Italian outfit iss unsurprising aat all.

Pedro may be down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, but his outstanding record in the competition iss worth a mention.

The attacker won the coveted trophy three times with Barcelona before joining the English outfit after falling out of favour at the La Liga club.

But the Italian could face a bottleneck in their bid to sign the star. Chelsea do not have a replacement, which could drag negotiations.

On the other hand, if Pedro sees fewer games under new boss Sarri after falling out of the Italian’s starting XI in their 3-0 win over Huddersfield, the Nerazzurri could end up having the upper-hand in the negotiations for his transfer.
