Chelsea to agree deal for “new Andrea Pirlo”

Chelsea are interested in signing in-demand Italian youngster Sandro Tonali, this is according to reports.

Tonali started his career with Piacenza and he moved on to Brescia, who offered him his debut in the Seria B in the summer of 2017.

The youngster has always put up an astute performance whenever he is called upon to play and he has been on the radar of several clubs including Inter Milan, Roma, Milan and Juventus.

Dubbed as the “new Andrea Pirlo” because of his playing style and looks, the 18-year-old star is one of the most talented midfielder in Italy. It will not be long before he is prise away from his club.

Chelsea have the funds to challenge any club for his signature but even if he’s signed, he’d be a player for the future given the plethora of options at the disposal of Maurizio Sarri.

Given his skills and ball retention ability, Sarri is building his team around Jorginho as the pivot of his squad and that’s the same thing Tonali would offer in the future where ever he ends up/.
