Chelsea to agree deal for €60m-rated goal-machine

Krzysztof Piatek move to join Premier League giants Chelsea could take a new spin, with Italian giants AC Milan already in the race to sign the prominent prospect.

Piatek had a staggering performance for Genoa this season, and has had his name slapped on the front pages of news outlets given his sterling display for the Italian outfit.

The young Polish striker is well polished in front of goals and has hit the back of the net 13 times for Genoa this season.

Milan are keen to sign the player and have sounded out to the club about their interests to bring him to the San Siro, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport via Calcio Mercato .

Chelsea are keen too, and already have enough fighting off Barcelona over the star. But with Milan, who just entered the fray, the battle for Piatek just got more rougher.

Piatek is valued in the region of 60 million euros by Genoa, but that won’t halt the quick steps of clubs who are roused by what the player has done so far for Genoa.

Milan sporting director Leonardo has met with the club hierarchy over the player’s transfer, reports hinted. Negotiations is said to be moving through gears. If the move pulls through, it leave Chelsea fans bitter, who had hoped they could land the budding star this month.
