Chelsea are weighing on a deal for Turkish goalkeeper Berke Ozer as part of reinforcement for next season, according to report.
The youngster started his career with Turkish side Bucaspor and having impressed for the side, he switched to Altinordu, where he has constantly shone for the B team. He heroics in-between the sticks has not gone unnoticed as he earned a call up to the Turkish national team by coach Fatih Terim.
Thibaut Courtois is heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid, and it appears that the Blues have begun preparing for life after him. However, should Ozer be signed, he will be a player for the future as he will have work permit issues to also sort out.
Chelsea have been monitoring the progress of the 17-year-old star but they may have to lodge a bid sooner than later as Barcelona, PSV Eindhoven, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are all lurking around to snap up a deal for the rising star.
Antonio Conte has bemoaned the dearth of transfer activities at Chelsea and it is believed that Roman Abramovich will approve a huge sum for the signing of players next summer.
We wait to see how this pans out.
