Chelsea are weighing in on a deal for Italy and Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa, this is according to the Express.
Maurizio Sarri arrived Chelsea later in the summer transfer window. Although he bolstered his squad, he was unable to get all of his targets.
The Italian manager is very well expected to reinforce his squad in the January transfer window, with the attack and defense as his priorities.
Chiesa joined Fiorentina in 2007 but broke into the first team to become a regular in the 2016/17 season. Since then his stock has been steadily increasing. The impressive displays of the 21-year-old star has caught to attention of several European heavy weight.
Manchester United, Napoli, Inter Milan and Chelsea have all been named as suitors for the star and the reports claims he is valued at £52million.
Willian and Pedro have been with inconsistent in form, with the latter picking up injuries on a regular basis. Chiesa would provide a very potent replacement or option to any of the players.
Meanwhile Man United are uncertainty over the future of Alexis Sanchez and it is widely claimed that he could be offloaded in sooner, and a replacement signed in his stead.
Juventus are also said to be interested in the Italian player.
