Galatasaray’s Yunus Akgun has caught the attention of top tier outfit scattered across Europe after producing a brilliant man-of-the-match display for Turkey Under-19 against England U-19.
The youngster has now emerged under the radar of big European clubs, who are now scouting his performance level at the Turkish outfit.
Chelsea are reportedly in the running for the young winger and are closely keeping tabs on the 19-year-old.
Juventus are not far off either,as they have been credited with an interest in the winger, admits close sources to ESPN FC.
Akgun’s contract with Galatasaray will run out in 2020, and close sources say Juventus and Chelsea are keen on adding him to the shortlist of players they could target in January.
Meanwhile, the source also suggested that Wolfsburg and Benfica have shown interest in the 19-year-old, and in contrast to the plans laid out for him by Chelsea and Juventus, Wolfsburg and Benfica are ready to plant him in their senior team by next season, if they get their hands on him.
Akgun has one assist in seven appearances for Galatasaray this season, and has notched up four goals and one assist in six appearances for Turkey U-19 side.
