Chelsea to agree £25million deal for Arsenal man, Liverpool miss out

It is the final month of the transfer window, every club will ensure that they put contract talks behind them before the League kicks-offs.

Chelsea are willing to offer as much as £25million for Arsenal contract rebel Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, according to the Express.

Chamberlain like some of his Arsenal teammates have turned down improved contract offers from the Gunners and he has been linked with  move to Liverpool and Chelsea.

The versatile England international played as a makeshift wing back for the Gunners last term and he impressed. Conte has identified the 23-years-old as the man to give Victor Moses a run for his money. The report claims Conte is ready to make Chamberlain a top-class winger.

Arsene Wenger bolstered his squad this summer but there is quiet a huge number of the Gunners player that are on the exit list of the Club. Chamberlain is in the final 12-months of Arsenal contract but letting him leave will make the Gunners team somewhat void of quality.

Meanwhile, Chelsea were in the chase of Danilo until the player opted to join Man City and Conte is looking to add wing backs to his squad after signing two players.

Chamberlain was the most improved player for Arsenal last term, it will be difficult for Wenger to allow his priced possession leave.
