The Premier League will be wrapped up this weekend but Clubs in the League have begun making moves for their transfer prime target as they prepare to make their outing for next season better.
According to latest report, Arsenal and Chelsea have been dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of long term transfer target Youri Tielemans, who has penned a record breaking deal with Ligue One side Monaco from Anderlecht.
The 20-year-old midfielder has been starring regularly for his Belgian side since he was 17. He was heavily linked with a move away from the Belgian Jupiler Pro League side last summer but he could not secure a deal.
The report claims Ligue One favorite secured a £21.2m deal for the attacking midfielder which is the highest sum ever paid a club in the Jupiler Pro League. Man United were also understood to be interested in the player but he may not get into the first team of his Premier League suitors.
Tielemans has been among the stand out performers in the Belgian League this season and is in the running for the Golden Boot after scoring 17 goals in all competitions this term.
Chelsea are uncertain of the future of Fabregas and they are on the look out for a player that would come in as probable replacement for Fabregas. Meanwhile, Arsenal and Man United are also keen on bolstering their thin and aging midfield.
