Chelsea have suffered a massive blow in their quest to land Spain and Real Madrid midfielder Isco, after the player rejected an offer for a move, according to report.
Isco was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea last summer after they sold Nemanja Matic to Manchester United but the deal fell through and Chelsea have retained their interest in the skillful midfielder.
Conte has called on the board of Chelsea to fortify the Blues squad with top-notch players and it appears that they have made the signing of Isco a priority for the coming season.
Cesc Fabregas is currently the only and most creative midfielder in Chelsea but the Spaniard has countless times failed to justify his selection.
According to Don Balon via the Express, Chelsea have increased their bid for Isco but they have been left stunned after the player rejected the offer. Chelsea failed to qualify for the Champions League of next season and it is said that the lack of Champions league football is the major turn off for the Spaniard.
The Blues are not the only club linked with a move for the star – Paris Saint Germain and Manchester City are also heavily linked with a move for the player. Nonetheless, could still land the player if they increase their bid for him.
Meanwhile, Yaya Toure has called time on his spell with Man City and they are already in the search for another creative player and their attention is on Isco.
Salah is valued at 75,00 Mill. € according to transfermarkt.
