Andrea Christensen threatens to leave Chelsea if Sarri does not play him regularly.
Christensen who formed a major part of Conte’s three-pronged wall at Stamford Bridge, during the Italian’s spell admitted he has got one foot out the exit door in Chelsea.
Sarri took the helm of the club from fellow compatriot Conte, after the latter’s fallout with the west London outfit.
Chelsea extended their unbeaten run this season to eight game, racking 20 points so far.
But Christensen was trimmed out of these fixtures as Sarri preferred the combination of David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger at the heart of his squad’s defence.
Christensen may have been Chelsea’s lifeline during Conte’s stay, but Sarri carefully selecting Luiz ahead of the Danish player, despite the Brazilian couched to a corner last term, shows that Luiz packs enough under the belt.
“I can’t have so much patience again. Now I’m 22 years old and I really want to play.
“In the last three seasons, I’ve played regularly with every team I’ve been with, so it’s clear that I do not see myself staying if my current situation remains the same.” Said the 22-year-old, who had looked forward to playing under Sarri.
