Chelsea new boy Ross Barkley has been declared fit ahead of Chelsea’s crunch tie with run-away League leaders Manchester City, according to reports.
The Blues have tough fixtures at this point in time – after losing a Premier League game to Manchester United, and losing their fourth spot to Tottenham Hotspur on the League table, they play Man City this Sunday and travel to Spain to face Barcelona in the Champions League.
Conte is under immense pressure to salvage the season of the Blues and his own job – speculations are rife that he could be shown the exit door of the club at the end of the season following his failure to defend the title he won in his debut season.
Conte is looking to take Chelsea back into the top four and he will need all his players to be fit for this closing stages of the season. Barkley has returned to full training and he has been declared fit ahead of the super Sunday game to the delight of Conte.
Barkley picked up a hamstring injury shortly after joining Chelsea from Everton. Meanwhile the English star has been battling with an injury even before joining Chelsea.
David Luiz and Tiemoue Bakayoko are yet on the recovering pane.
