Manchester United and Chelsea have received a major boost in their chase after Real Madrid and Wales superstar Gareth Bale as the Los Blancos admits they might let him go for a relatively low price.
Though talented, Gareth Bale has had a spell to forget at Santiago Bernabeu due to his unfortunate recurring injuries which has prevented him from establishing himself as one of the deadliest strikers in the world.
Due to his injury crisis, the Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is willing to partway with the striker as Chelsea and Manchester United keep knocking on the Madrid’s door for his Services ahead of the 2018-19 season.
According to Spanish media publication AS, the Welshman could be sold out for a low price due to his inability to get much action under Zinedine Zidane this season. The media outlet also reports that the player who is valued at £88million by transfermarkt, could be sold as low as £68m.
Manchester United have been tracking his situation at the club since the previous transfer market and they are believed to be making a move for his signature in the summer.
Chelsea are presently facing a goalscoring problem and that has seen them occupy the fifth position in the League table, eight points behind Tottenham.
Having seen Alvaro Morata, Olivier Giroud both fire-blank this season, the Blues are set to beat their rivals to Bale’s signature as they hope to find solution to their striker’s problem ahead of next season.
