Chelsea playmaker and talisman Eden Hazard has fueled gossips he is unhappy with his new role, acting as a striker for the Blues.
Hazard scored the first half winner for Chelsea in their away clash at the Amex Stadium. The 27-year-old played in Willian who scored the Blues opener against Chris Hughton’s men who failed to make a statement until the closing stages of the game despite striker Glenn Murray returning back to the side.
Hazard was pushed further up front, spearheading Chelsea’s leading three-pronged frontline.
Despite his playing brilliantly in that position this season, converting many chances from that role, the Belgian is unhappy with the change of tack from his boss Maurizio Sarri.
Sarri delivered that Hazard has yet to hit his highest levels and says the 27-year-old will give more. The Italian suggest it is still a glimmer of what the Belgian can achieve for Chelsea before he exits the club for Real Madrid in the summer.
Sarri will continue to play Hazard as a false striker until he can get a suitable replacement for the berth in his squad. Though, there’s Giroud waving at him to get noticed, but the Frenchman is very unlikely to nail a regular start in the Premier League.
Until Alvaro Morata returns to full fitness, it is unlikely Hazard’s role will not be unchanged
