Chelsea in pole position to sign 6-goal in 11-games attacker

Chelsea are front-runners for the signature of England and Bournemouth City striker Callum Wilson, this is according to reports.’

The Blues have had an impressive outing in the League this term but the form of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud has left so much to be desired. The aforementioned striker have lacked the ability to bury their chances whenever they are given the nod to play.

Bournemouth have taken the Premier League by storm this season and their form has been attributed to the impressive display of Wilson. The 26-year-old has scored six goals in the league this term which is more than Giroud’s and Morata’s combine.

According to 101greatgoals, Chelsea are said to be frontrunners for the player’s signature. Tottenham and Everton are also mentioned in the report as suitors for the star and they could all make a move for him in the January transfer window.

The future of Wilson for the Cherries has consistently been discussed as he has regularly featured on the transfer radar of clubs. It may not be long before he departs Bournemouth for a top Premier League club.

At Chelsea, he is uncertain of getting into the first team of Sarri but who know, he may impress enough to dislodge the likes of Giroud and Morata up front.

We keep our fingers crossed on this.
