Chelsea are weighing on a deal for attacking Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, this is according to report.
Then reigning Champions of the Premier League were heavily involved in the summer and winter transfer window but Conte is yet dissatisfied with the quality of players under his purview.
Although he has added midfielders to his otherwise strong squad – Ross Barkley has had a slow start over the incessant injuries he’s picked up while Danny Drinkwater and Tiemoue Bakayoko’s form has left so much to be desired.
And now, Daily Mirror are in the claim that the Blues have lined up Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey for a move in the summer as they look to fortify their midfield.
Ramsey is in the final 18-months of his current contract with the Gunners but he has stalled over a new deal with the Gunners and there is somewhat uncertainty surrounding his future at the Club.
Former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has advised the Gunners to keep Ramsey at the Emirates despite the number of suitors and offers made for him.
He told BT Sport: ““I’m an admirer of Aaron Ramsey and Arsenal must try to secure his long-term future at the club.
“Ramsey has just over a year left on his contract and once again Arsenal have got themselves in a position where one of their key players’ deals is running out.
“I feel some sympathy for him because his position has changed over the years at the club.
“Sometimes, because they’ve had so many attacking midfielders, he’s been dropped further back.”
