AC Milan could beat off interests from Premier League London clubs Chelsea in signing Wales international Aaron Ramsey in January.
Ramsey, who has notched up over 300 games since joining the club from Cardiff in 2008 and is currently the Gunners longest serving player.
The line for a new contract has been reportedly drawn and the player will be allowed to leave the club in January after talks collapsed, according to Sky Sports.
Few weeks ago, reports milled about saying a deal was in the frame for the Welshman.
However, a deal for the Wales international looks unlikely after talks to extend 27-year-old stay at the outfit was scuppered.
Ramsey will be allowed to talk to foreign clubs in January or leave as a free next summer.
Italian outfit AC Milan have been tipped as favourites to land the out-of-favoured midfielder.
Chelsea are queued up for the midfielder too. The Blues were heavily linked with the star this summer, after his reported fall-out with the Gunners board.
But the Rossoneri are in pole position for the midfielder and bookmakers Ladbrokes tip the Serie A outfit to snap him up, before Chelsea do.
