Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele is catching plenty of attention with his stunning deliveries for the French outfit. But the Lyon midfielder won’t come at a cheap price.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri recently exposed one of the weaknesses in his team which could blow up into a bigger crisis if not handled in the transfer market.
The Italian manager says a sole piece is still missing in his squad. Sarri says Chelsea is dripping with attack-minded players and the gap between defensive and offensive is as thin as a strip.
French midfielder N’golo Kante bridges the gulf of space between both berths, but Sarri is still distraught over the problem.
The taste in Sarri-ball has gathered admirers and Chelsea have continued to boss possession on the field against opponents.
Yet, the quest for a balance is a persisting problem that needs solving. And Ndombele checks well in that department.
The box-to-box midfielder however will be a tough player to haggle over. His agent Duro Ivanisevic has revealed that the asking price for the 21-year-old. Any club showing interest in the Ligue One midfielder will have to stump up at least 80 million euros to land the big youngster.
Chelsea are not the only one chasing the midfielder. Arsenal are reportedly keen as Aaron Ramsey looks set to leave the north London outfit in January.
