Chelsea faces new risk over ownership
Things have swayed well for Chelsea this season. The Blues succeeded in getting Sarri to pen a deal at the club as manager, including getting incredible midfield options this summer.
Not forgetting their big splash on Spaniard Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer, after their ruckus with Belgian Thibaut Courtois.
Sarri has somehow, not 100 percent though, succeeded in transforming a more conservative squad under former boss Antonio Conte to a radical one. Five wins and a draw, sitting third on the log is an impressive start no doubt.
But Chelsea face a much more bigger problem.Roman Abramovich is being faced with the threat of stepping down from his role as the London side owner.
Chelsea have enjoyed flooding success under Roman Abramovich and still continue too. Changing managers like wearing clothes in the past five league seasons, and still won trophies at the time, shows how much influence the Russian has on the club.
However, his grip on the club could be cut off given the spat between UK and Russia, which has plummeted their relationship since Russia were reported to have committed heinous crimes in the UK.
Abramovich who is very linked to the Kremlin, has been denied entry into the UK since both countries break off.
And reports from Bloomberg indicate the may be ready to give up on the club he bought in the summer of 2003.
According to the news outlet, Abramovich has reportedly demanded 3 billion pounds for the west London outfit.
