Arsene Wenger’s resolve to hold on to his players is heavily tested as Clubs continue to show keen interest in the Gunners players.
Alex Oxlade Chamberlain had his best season in the colours of Arsenal last term and it appears that a host of Premier League Clubs are impressed with the progress of the player.
Since his appointment as the manager of Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp has been linked with a move for versatile Arsenal player Chamberlain. The Reds were understood to be preparing a £40million bid for the player last week.
Liverpool may have to up their pursuit of the player with the latest report on Skysports which claims the Mugsmashers have been joined in the chase of Chamberlain by Chelsea and Manchester City.
Like Sanchez and Ozil, Chamberlain is also in the final year of his current contract and has stalled over a new deal. The Gunners are yet return with a new offer for the versatile attacker, which may prompt him to consider his future with the Emirates Landlords.
Despite the horrendous display of Arsenal last season, Chamberlain was among the standout players of the Gunners and it will be foolhardy of they allow the 23-year-old leaves.
Chamberlain played as a central midfielder, a right back and a winger last term but he impressed in all of these positions. He may be tempted to consider a move in favor of a side that will play in the Champions League next season.
