It will be interesting to see Man United lock horns with Capitals rivals Chelsea in the League, as both clubs have already stirred bitter rivalry in the transfer window. The deal that saw Romelu Lukaku joined Man United and Alvaro Morata to Chelsea was expected to go the other way but for one club outbidding the other for the same target.

Jose Mourinho has made it clear that he is in the want of one more player before the close of the transfer window and Ivorian right back Serge Aurier emerged as a prime target for Man United. Alas, reports have now indicated that Chelsea are favourite to sign the powerful right back.

Serge Aurier’s career with Paris Saint Germain was thrown in the air after Dani Alvez joined them on a free transfer this season. Apparently, the Brazil born right back is vastly experienced and has displaced Aurier from the first team of the former French Champions.

Manchester United reported agreed £27million (30million Euros) fee for the transfer of the player but French outlet Le 10 Sport claims the Blues are now looking to do a Lukaku to Man United.

Antonio Conte is on the search for an option to Victor Moses on the right wing and Aurier perfectly fits the bill for the League holders. They have been linked with a move for other players but Aurier has emerged as a top target.

However, Aurier was refused entry into the UK following allegation of assault against a Police officer last year. His transfer to any of the clubs vying for his signature is dependent on the outcome of his court case.
