Chelsea youngster Ethan Ampadu has sustained an injury while playing for his national team in their game against Spain, per reports.
Following the prospect he has shown whenever he is called upon to play for Chelsea, the versatile defender has been a squad member of Wales national team since he was 16.
In the build up to his injury, he was impressive for Ryan Giggs led Wales side in their training sessions.
It is claimed by rife reports that after playing for 50 minutes against Spain, he limped off the pitch and the nature of the injury is yet to be disclosed.
Other reports have claimed his withdrawal from the game was precautionary from Giggs, who may just want to avoid more damage.
Ampadu, 18, has not featured in any competitive game for the Blues this term but the fact that he was sent on a loan spell means Sarri holds him in high esteem. It is only a matter of time before he breaks into the first team of the West London club.
Chelsea will take on Manchester United in the Premier league after the international break and Sarri will be hoping that all his players return unscathed.
