Antonio Conte is not done in the transfer market yet as he wants to make more signings before the transfer window closes, and according to reports he wants Everton and Arsenal English midfielders at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have already added four players to their fold; Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Alvaro Morata and Wily Caballero this summer.
But Conte, aiming to defend the Premier League title and go far in the Champions League, is highly interested in Everton’s Ross Barkley and Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to the Mirror.
Alex is into the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium and no agreement has been reached on a new contract. Control is said to closely more monitoring his situation at the London club and will submit a bid for him next month.
Barkley , also into the last 12 months of his contract at Everton, has told the club he wants to move on. And as per the report, Chelsea and other clubs have alerted and are ready to make a move for him.
Confirming the 23-year-old decision to leave Goodison park this summer, Everton boss Ronald Koeman said:
“Yes, 100 per cent. I knew this already from the end of last season.”
“We made a really good offer to him to sign a new contract, he declined that contract and told me that he is looking for a new challenge.”
However, Everton’s £50 million valuation of the midfielder seems to be putting club off and are reportedly waiting for the club to reduce the transfer fee.
