Chelsea are willing to offload Nigerian flop Kenneth Omeruo but they will insert a clause in his transfer to make them retain 20% of his transfer fee in subsequent move, according to reports in Nigeria.
Omeruo joined Spanish La Liga side Laganes in a season long loan move and he has been impressive for the side, increasing his stock for being in the starting XI.
The 25-year-old centre-back joined Chelsea in the January of 2012 from Standard Liege but he has spent his entire spell for the Blues sojourning on loan spells. He spent last season on loan at Kasımpaşa where he featured regularly but Maurizio Sarri does not rate the Nigerian footballer.
And now, reports have claimed Leganes are willing to buy the Nigerian player at the end of the season for a paltry five million Euros fee. Chelsea would benefit further should the La Liga club decide to part ways with the defender.
The star has started in four games for Laganes this term, but even if he returns to Chelsea, he may not get on the bench like his compatriot Moses.
It is time for the player to further his career away from Stamford Bridge.
